this is actually the very first time I visit the HP group. The reason? To ask the question about the HE and 9 V conversions. I was hesitant to order one, as the describtion on the S@H website states that the train will not run on Lego Track. But (...) (25 years ago, 23-Sep-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.trains)

Actually, the instructions show outlines of the 4 trucks being removed and replacing them with the new trucks and motor. Therefore, somebody not familiar with trains may have a hard time. (...) I don't really like the stairs at all. The sprial quality is nice and the fact that they're not just one solid piece of plastic is kind of neat, too. Hi All, now that 4708 Hogwarts Express is available (in USA via S@H and some stores) can someone please answer me this. (...) Well, there are two answers to that: J.K. Rowling has signed with Warner Bros. for the rights to EVERY Harry Potter book's movie adaptation..
