Re: knights armor in set 4709?

(...) Bummer! Sounds like you got the sitch back under control with a strategic dab of super glue. In the future, you might try sliding the sword vertically down the minifig hand for a low tension coupling. Just a thought. Aaron (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

Why Snape's head glows (was : it GLOWS)

(...) In the books Snape is described as having "sallow skin". My guess is that the designers decided the glow-in-the-dark 'color' best represents Snape's sickly complexion and the fact that it glows when the lights are out is beside the point (...) (...) $2??? What, didn't you try to haggle? Bet you could have got them down to $1.50 :) Seriously, when you find something like that, it must be tempting to turn it around into pure profit on ebay. I myself could never do something so mercenary. I (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

They all look very nice, but since I've never read the Harry Potter books, and not familiar with the characters (do I have to duck and run?) could someone tell me a little bit about the characters. Is Hagrid a giant of some kind? What is Peeves? A (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

(...) It does fit on the standard minifig head, even when on a normal torso. If you look at it from the front, it looks OK. But if you look at it from teh side, it looks pretty ridiculous. Troy (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

(...) Yes! Mega-ueber-thanks to the guy with the fastest digicam in the West. ;) (...) I dont' agree that's necessarily so. Troy, will the beard etc. fit on a head when it's on a minifig body? Granted, it'll be HUGE, but hey, if you want Grizzly (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Excellent! Excellent! This is exactly what I have been wanting! The pictures are detailed, and they answered a few questions I had been pondering for a while. Great Job Troy. ~~Clay, who must get Dumbledor's hair not matter what the cost. ---...--- (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)
