Sounds like a quality control problem here. I also bought a 6979 with a
failed micromotor, only I got mine almost a year ago. You did'nt happen to
get it from the Entertainer in Camberley did you?
Anyway, I have planned on getting this motor, and various other
broken/defective parts replaced by sending the damaged parts to TLG along
with an order for some spare parts I would like to buy. Now I am thinking of
splitting it, requesting replacement parts in one order, and ordering
service packs later - and from another address!
