Yes. As would getting it updated. I think we all acknowledge that doing
a FAQ is a labor of love, and **I** certainly don't have time, but it is
pretty out of date in spots.
In fact, I think a few canned responses to general sorts of questions
that we all carry around might be good. We did some of that with our
sigs but it's not enough.
Also, I just had a thought (which to a certain extent, undermines some
of my arguments in this thread, I guess...)
Is it possible that we all treated RTL more carefully back when it was
the only game in town? Possibly people were protective of it and spent
time answering newbie questions and suasing people because if they
didn't, it would deteriorate and there was no alternative.
But now, we have bright shiny well organised well behaved LUGNET. Who
cares about RTL? Old timers get snappish, or even dive into flame fests
because it's fun to flame. I myself said I wanted it around "to go
slumming". Now that I reflect, that statement kind of scares me.

For me: No voyager e-mail please. All snail-mail to Ada, please.
- Posting Binaries to RTL causes flamage... Don't do it, please.
- Stick to the facts when posting about others, please.
- This is a family newsgroup, thanks.
