No, I'm not saying that. If you're interested in learning, search
for some of the arguments for and against bulk ordering we've had
over the last few years - I don't have the time or the desire to
reproduce them for you.
But I'll tell you this - Larry put together an offer to buy that ran
into the tens of thousands of dollars, and if you think TLG wouldn't
make money doing a few limited runs of specific parts for HARD cash,
well, we're from different planets.

Who said anything about cutting out the retail channel?
Who says the retail channel couldn't take part IN the bulk selling
process?
Who says bulk selling would have much of an impact at all on retail
sales? It might mean I spend 4/5 of my money at some TLG-run online
bulk parts store instead of at Target's 70% clearance sales, but
somehow I don't think that would matter much to Target.
