| I was bidding on a 5540 Model Team formula car, and only one other bidder bid on it. $30 starting bid, and I got it for $32! True, it has no box, and I have to pay shipping from Paris, but I've wanted one for a while and seen some rather obscene (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

| I've started with a new strategy when bidding on eBay. I simply bid what I consider a good find. And I don't care if I get outbid in the last minute. There are always more than 1000 items matching "lego -star", so patience is the key word. /Tore (...) (25 years ago, 19-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
