What I always liked about the Fabuland figs was the huge variety of colors
and animals represented.  I don't think there's been any line since then
which has equalled it in that regard.

Looking at those pics makes me think that one of the buildings at Legoland
California ought to be a museum with one of every set that Lego has ever
produced. I'm sure they must have kept some somewhere.

(...) Though not accessible to the likes of you and me, there is such a museum at Billund headquarters. Copies of all sets, including the old wooden blocks, the cars, everything. i (26 years ago, 23-Nov-98, to lugnet.general)

I really liked the fact that the heads could move up and down as well as left and right, although mine soon became very loose and tended to take a sideways look (...)
