Re: Another McD rip off... —Larry Pieniazek
Thanks Mike! I did 4, and I suspect one of the people I feedbacked didn't like it much. I can't be sure it was him rather than some quirk, but I got signed up for a bazillion junkmail lists. Another person contacted me offline and we had a (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) At least nobody's bid on it--but it still has 21h to go. And it seems someone else left that bit o' neutral feedback too. :) And so, the market regulates itself... LFB (25 years ago, 16-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Another McD rip off... —Alex Roode
(...) That is the cheesiest, cornyest, corkyest, dumbest, freakyest discription i have ever heard. The seller wants u to buy a $24 thing when u can get it thru S&H for $11. And while i say that, who would buy it for 11 bucks anyway? That thing's (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) like (...) Well, umm, that is what most McDonald's that I have had experiences with look like, the color scheme and weird architecture, anyway. As for its juniorization, it is one of the least juniorized 1999 sets that I can name off the top (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Another McD rip off... —Frank Filz
I have to agree with Greg about this set (I just got mine today). It is nice. The only complaints I have are that they should have used a pair of those smooth top arches with a few 1x1 bricks to make the golden arches, and that they should have (...)       Alex wrote:! (...) Dude, you are on your own. When you settle down, look at what this set has to offer. Valuewise, the two train windows *alone* are worth $7-9 in the open market. It is actually one of the *better* sets to have come out (in terms (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Another McD rip off... —Paul Baulch
D Garcia wrote in message ... (...) Interestingly, this seller may not know about Lego S@H, let alone much about Lego itself. If anyone wishes to check this seller's (many!) other auctions, they will find that it's for McDonald's merchandise, not (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
