The pieces *are* done by weight.
Most of the parts I had requested were in multiples of 100.
For instance, of the 4 lots of 1000 2x4's I had ordered, I
had received 998 twice, 999 once. The 1000 2x2 columns were 1003 actually.
I had also ordered 100 of each type of arch, for which arrived
102 or 103 of each.
Most parts arrived in the quantities requested. Some were
less, but a greater proportion of types ordered had extra than
less.
