While Europe has traditionally had much better selection of
service paks
than the rest of the world, this situation can change, too. I
recommend
that everyone in all parts of the world call or write their
appropriate Lego
Sales Company and voice their opinion about service paks. Here is

If this is not done, service paks will not proliferate, they will
disappear.
Please remember to be rational, reasonable, mature, and brief with
your
phone calls and letters. Tell them exactly why YOU want service
packs,
what types of pieces you would buy, how many you have bought in
the past,
and how important LEGO is to you.
This must be done by everyone. This must be done by mail or by
telephone
and, of course, you can contact them more than once.
And don't forget to buy the service packs you have been wanting
for a long
time--this may be your final chance and it may be a good clue that
people
really do want service packs if suddenly everyone is ordering
them.

Further comments:
For those of us that rely on TLG service packs whether it be for
Train,
Technic, System, or even Dacta, this is a very important matter.
I
personally buy a lot of service packs from S@H (probably 40+ in
the last 12
months) and would like to see a couple more train service packs
for rolling
stock pieces as much as many other people here. I am planning on
banging
out a few letters with the old word processor soon and give them
my 2 cents
as well as dialing the phone now and then. I urge everyone else
to do the
same.
