I was quite interested in the project when it debuted-- every once in a while
I'd jump back to it hoping to see more history fill it up. But that only lasted
until sometime in late 2008, when the Jainsguide website went AWOL.

Anyway, using a duplicate copy that I had snatched sometime in October of that
year, I've since been filling it in here and there, and finally decided to do
something with it, since it doesn't seem like Jainsguide is coming back anytime
soon. So, here's my new version:

There have been quite a lot of additions since 2008, but there are still a lot
of events that can be added. So please, send some in!

Also, feel free to discuss-- I know what flavor of things I'M going for, but I'm
not sure if it betrays Jason's original intent, or if the community at large has
a different idea of the sorts of events to record, and how to record them.

Very cool!

What about A.T.L. (Alt.Toys.Lego) News group?  It might not been as big or
popular as R.T.L. in 1994.  But A.T.L. did come before R.T.L. a year before or
about the same year as R.T.L.

As I can remember or recall the first Lego chat news group in order.

1. A.T.L. (yr: 1993/1994?)
2. R.T.L.

As for other sites 'pause.com', 'lugnet.com', and I think 'everything Lego'.
There was someone also who had the first use of the LEGO domain name site.
Before the Lego lawyers send a letter.
