Top Ten Reasons Why Kevin Loch Should be Vilified

10. He didn't back up all of my image files for me 9. He never returns my calls 8. I don't know how to pronounce "maj.com." Madge? Mage? Modge? 7. What kind of slacker quits after just twelve short years? 6. Now where am I supposed to post my 57,214 (...) (17 years ago, 16-Jul-07, to lugnet.general) !!

  Re: Brickshelf.com – A Possible Solution

(...) Marc-- Sounds like a good idea. Heck, it sounds like a great idea at first blush. However... TLG is not in the website business. (Nor should they be.) They are working with NetDevil to create an MMOG (or whatever they call it); and their (...) (17 years ago, 16-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf.com – A Possible Solution

(...) Brickshelf, Lugnet, BrickLink, Classic-Castle, Classic-Space, 1000steine, BrickJournal, BrickFest, ILTCO/NMRA, Ldraw and LEGO CAD Tools... If we are a nuisance, then I would by all means go to a (...) (17 years ago, 16-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  10181 Eiffle Tower

Just finished building 10181. It is a great piece. However, it is rather flimsy which seems to be a continuing problem with the large new sets. What else I saw was a slight variation in the shade of the bricks. Even within the same kind of brick I (...) (17 years ago, 16-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Brickshelf and the AFOL community

(...) I also agree until we find out something from Kevin, moving files, correcting links, and stressing over lost pictures is all worthless, we all just need to take a breath and wait to hear something. It is obvious that Brickshelf has evolved (...) (17 years ago, 16-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf.com – A Possible Solution

(...) You're absolutely right, Jake, they're quite different. I was just pointing out that TLG probably spends about as much money on that spread as it would running something like Brickshelf. Do you think a "LEGOshelf" gallery site would be a (...) (17 years ago, 16-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf.com – A Possible Solution

(...) I absolutely won't speculate about TLG intentions on this front. But I would like to point out that comparing a return to the hobby via Brickshelf and the efforts of the LEGO Magazine is an apple and oranges comparison. Those "two pages of MOC (...)
