    The Cruella d'Villa —Matthew Crandall
Hi all! On my Brickshelf page ((URL)) is the Cruella d'Villa I showed at Brickfest 2007. Sort of a cross between the Swiss Villa and the Italian Villa sets of the 1970's, this has been rescaled to minifig scale and updated slightly. For example, (...)      (...) Nifty! Simple and sweet. In these days of abundance, this invokes the classics. Well played! (18 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

I also like how your villa has that classic 1970's set feel with the arches and tile walkway. I do have a couple of suggestions about your pictures. Hi again-- I don't like posting to my own posts, but so you all know...I have taken Ben's advice and gone through both the Cruella d'Villa and the Minifigs on Tour pictures on Brickshelf ((URL)) and resized them to roughly 1000x750 for faster (...)    (...) (URL) Irfanview> has a batch mode, allowing you to easily resize as many images as you like with a few mouse clicks. ROSCO (18 years ago, 12-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: The Cruella d'Villa —Matthew Crandall
(...) ROSCO! Thank you--that reminded me that I have a program for my Minolta DiMage Z6 that does batch processing. The Brickfest 2007 pics are now resized, and the folder will be public again soon. Lesson learned: I promise from here out that my (...) (18 years ago, 13-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)
