  Joke of the Day

This morning I was deep asleep, peacefully dreaming of building a huge 3D Christmas tree out of Legos (of course!). My wife gently whispered in my ear, "It's time to get up!" I slowly and painfully emerged from my delicious dream to face the (...) (19 years ago, 13-Dec-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun, lugnet.loc.ca.ns) !

  A Disappointed Lego Set

Dear Lego Company, I am writing to express our disappointment about this year's new set, 7324, LEGO City Advent Calendar. As our kids have been playing with Lego toys for more than 8 years and based on the number of Lego sets we have purchased (...) (19 years ago, 13-Dec-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) I USED to be. When Spider-Man came out, I thought it was sort of, well, WRONG looking. But after drawing all the AFOLs comic, and having a main character "bald," it all seems normal to me. Spider-Man is fine, Mace Windu is fine, the soccer (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Hi Ben, (...) I hope you don't mind if I join in this conversation. As you can probably imagine, this is a topic to which I've given a lot of thought over the last couple of years. :) A quick bit of background on the Brickopedia that appears in my (...) I dunno, I think it can seem that way sometimes, but it helps me to remember all the cool sets/themes that have come out in the last few years (Star Wars, Legends, Designer series, Vikings, expanded parts packs & factory, just to name a few). Cheer up, emo kid. There's no reason you should be hinging all that on whether or not you got responses for a given MOC. If number of responses is the only way you measure your model's worth, maybe you should try harder to be impressive. Also, (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Having seen the shear amount of creativity that is being put in to MOC's, I consider these to be a form of art. So, as long as the baldness is fuctional, I have no problem with it :-) With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) Actually, Brand Retail gave me the idea and I taped those bricks on the boxes. This is how the stores keep track of what is in all those uniform brown Pick-A-Brick boxes. Imagine that. I taught the master builders something. Doug (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.general)
