  Re: A Lego History Project

(...) Hey Jim, Thanks for the Lego family history. It is very interesting to note that the first Lego outside of Denmark, was sold in Norway in 1953. No we know why! Good Researching!! Gary Istok (19 years ago, 7-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  A Lego History Project

For sime time I have been working on a site about Lego history. Although there are plenty of Lego timelines and histories on the internet none are sufficiently complete for the AFOL. I hope this project solves some of these issues. The site is not (...) (19 years ago, 6-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX) !

  KING KONG

I created this model because of the new upcoming film, and for the Eurobricks monster contest. It is created out of 2 Fenris wolf sets, a load of Minifig black arms and some creativity! This is my first model that Ive posted on Lugnet and I hope you (...) (19 years ago, 6-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX) !!

  Dino now everywhere

Don,t know if anybody noted this, but on the Lego website, it,s now confrmed that Dinoattack is a worldwide theme.   Re: Announcing ILENN: the International LEGO Enthusiast News Network

(...) Yes, agreed. The yellow box was a last-second addition just before release, and the display isn't optimal by any means. I'm also working on a method to distinguish content that's new since your last visit, so that'll all change around. Thanks, (...) (19 years ago, 4-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Announcing ILENN: the International LEGO Enthusiast News Network

(...) I have a hard time distinguishing the headline and channel line. My eyes naturally think of the bigger colored channel bars as the headlines rather than the actual headlines. In other words, I am always having to remember that the story is (...) (19 years ago, 4-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Announcing ILENN: the International LEGO Enthusiast News Network

(...) Aha! I knew it was all a conspiracy! Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not all out to get me. ;) Seriously, even though I happened to notice it on a post of one of my creations, it was more a question out of curiosity. I think (...) (19 years ago, 4-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Darkageinosis: Research for a Cure

Re: Announcing ILENN: the International LEGO Enthusiast News Network

(...) Good guess, Ross, that's probably what's happening. I could adjust the amount of text if not enough is showing, that's not a problem. Since we're still tweaking, go ahead and make suggestions! I'll see what I can do about expanding that a bit. (...) (19 years ago, 4-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Announcing ILENN: the International LEGO Enthusiast News Network

(...) Just guessing, but I think it's probably because the Rosa Parks one has more text before the pic - ILENN only displays the first NNN chars of each article, I guess if it truncates halfway through an image URL, the image gets dumped. But I (...) (19 years ago, 4-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Announcing ILENN: the International LEGO Enthusiast News Network

Hey Kelly, I've got a question. How are images handled? If you look at ILENN right now there are two stories from my blog up right now. The one named "In the archives" has an image while the one named "Rosa Parks" does not, even though the code is (...) (19 years ago, 4-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Na na na na na na na na...

(...) For the record, you're probably thinking of Tyco, because the vast majority of Mega Bloks bricks are 1/3 brick-height. There have been a few half-brick-height plate over time (such as the 8x24, the 8x16, the 4x16, etc.) but Mega Bloks has (...) (19 years ago, 2-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Na na na na na na na na...

(...) Wow. My opinion is 180° from yours. I hate the Mini-Mates figures from head to toe, but I was generally satisfied with the design of the sets (though they weren't a good dollar value, which is part of why they tanked, IMO). (...) That's (...) (19 years ago, 2-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Announcing ILENN: the International LEGO Enthusiast News Network

(...) Yes, that's definitely one of the plans... it'll be pretty sweet to be able to go in and define what content you want to see, and then have the RSS feed back out again, customized for what you want to view. So in go the various RSS feeds, and (...) (19 years ago, 2-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)
