Sweet! I was under the impression that the Mac version would still be in beta
today, but it looks like the pulled off a simultaneous release. Great work,
LEGO!
Ive downloaded the Mac version, and though it uses an installer (why cant it
just be an app I drag to my hard drive?), it went smoothly. It launched without
a hitch, spent a bit of time updating its parts list (which is actually rather
fun to watch, as you get to see what parts are included looks like a decent
selection), and then it was ready to go. The interface is a bit ugly (looks
like theyre using OpenGL to render the text, and its coming out a bit
illegible, at least OMM), but Im willing to live with that. It seems stable
and smooth. Overall Im delighted.
Now, if we only had a lugnet.factory newsgroup to discuss it in!
Best,
- Joe
