Ditto to both those reasons. 1) I have enough LEGO to build almost anything I want, 2) I don't have any money to spend, 3) if there is a certain piece or two I'm missing, I buy them on Bricklink. I wish the survey had let you back up to (...) (20 years ago, 15-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

| OK, I filled it out. Comments: 1) Geez. Kind of a pain in the neck. Like 70 questions, many with a dozen or more sub questions. It's like doing your taxes. 2) Seemed to be authored by a European. | (...) Eh, sadly, I think it's true. Most AFOLs are after cheap Lego because we buy so much. Not all of us, mind you, but most of us, I think. And of course there were a few things that weren't really quite .... right. Like "Do you buy less Lego than (...) (20 years ago, 15-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)
