Which Mega-Block sets does TLG want to copy? Dragons? Command Ops? Disney?

Oops, Lego already had a shot with Disney. Then lost it...

I’ve mentioned this before - Mega-Block has some really eye-catching Dragons/Viking/Castle displays in Toys R Us and Wal-Mart stores. The TRU display looks to be about 3 x 3.

Imagine if you walked into a TRU and saw a Lego display that large.

I bet that Dragons display, combined with the significantly lower prices, is moving Mega-Block product at a good rate.

What I like are those MEGA Block x-mas ornaments (9.99 for 5 ornaments)! Okay I don’t care for the chessy looking ornaments that MEGA Block made but I do like the idea.

Too bad its lost on TLC. =(

The train boys (in lugnet) also had a nice idea a while back. A yearly holiday train set (the same set every year) plus a 20?? (fill in the year) x-mas car for the train! Sort of what hallmark does with yearly holiday ornament.

But again the idea is lost on TLC... =(

I'm tempted to get them, but we're only doing a tiny tree this year, and there'd be no room for them with all of the ornaments we (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)
