It sounds to me like all the ISS that are left are going to disappear off the shelves. Is there any way to know before buying a set whether it uses the new or old greys? It would really suck to spend $300 on an ISS only to find it used the new (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) Aesthetically they go together very differently. Looking at a wall of grey with a few off-color bricks will cause your eye to be drawn to the ones that are different.
