Re: New colors and other info —Steven Lane
(...) I meant "Have you actually tried to make the new ones (meaning long studless beams) connect end to end?" You'd have to use 2 1/2 wide lift arms, 4 3L axles and eight bushes instead of 2 1xn plates like you do with the old ones. Steve (21 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

I use this type of connection (studs-in-holes) quite often, and I'm pleased with the results. I hate to dig up a sore (...) (21 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

        New Technic beams? —Mark Tarrabain
(...) Aren't those just liftarms? The regular technic beams are still being made, afaik.... >> Mark (21 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Technic beams? —Jonathan Wilson
(...) nope, technically they are "studless beams" if they are full-thickness and "halfbeams" if they are half-thickness Liftarms contain 1 or more cross axle holes. (21 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)
