| | | | | | (...) Even though LEGO plates came out in 1963 (1x1 & 1x2, 2x2, 2x3, 2x4 in parts packs 521, 520, 519 and 518 respectively), parts packs were the only way to purchase them at the time. | | | | | I remember back in about 1970 when I inherited my sister's old Lego, there were lots of red and white basic bricks. I also recall there were some pinkish bricks. I recall being puzzled about them, and assuming they were incredibly old bricks that (...) (25 years ago, 15-May-99, to lugnet.general)
