Well I happen to like this years bucket because I want the orange bricks
(the grey and green were an added bonus) and my kids like the instructions.
I did not buy ANY buckets at Wal-Mart last year and I bought a few the year
before.
I agree that the 500 piece bucket is a better deal, but it doesn't have the
orange. TRU has a 200 piece bucket with standard colors for $9.99 and the
bulk bricks are more than $5 for far fewer bricks (you pay more for the
specific color and size, but we are just talking number of bricks for the
buck). So there are worse brick deals.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I happen to like it!

| (...) Rose, I warmed up to it, too. Considering that the bulk of the bricks are orange, green, light gray and black, all colors I can use more of, I thought that $3 per bucket made it a fine buy. Did I say $3? The Durham NC (USA) Walmart at New Hope (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)
