Message boards on LEGO.com? —James Trobaugh
Has anyone heard anything about this? I just noticed it this morning. (URL) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Message boards on LEGO.com? —Steven Combs
(...) not sure how long these have been around but judging from the number of messages, not long. My guess is that the younger folks would probably use these boards more and that the adult fans would probably continue to use LUGNET. However, you (...)          Re: Message boards on LEGO.com? —Thomas Avery
(...) I hope not. But I do agree that the younger fans will take to it. Well, I see one member of our community has already posted there (see the message about the Santa Fe Super Chief Cars in the trains group). But there's something interesting, (...)           Re: Message boards on LEGO.com? —Tim Courtney
(...) Interesting... (...) I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. When I read my message (after it had been approved and publicly visible) this morning, I was too groggy to notice a difference. I notice they trimmed an off-topic comment on (...)           Re: Message boards on LEGO.com? —Steven Combs
(...) However this does jive with their kid friendly theme. My 7 year-old daughter just created her own LEGO Web account and I have to say that I feel much safer allowing her to browse through the LEGO site knowing that someone is moderating the (...)           Re: Message boards on LEGO.com? —Thomas Avery
(...) I can agree with that for a kid's forum. Definitely. I'm assured LUGNET isn't being replaced (and I'm sure that wasn't LEGO's intent either). TJ (22 years ago, 13-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Message boards on LEGO.com? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) I posted a few comments... it will be interesting to see how or if they get moderated. (as of a few min ago none had been yet). I agree with Tim, I had already done some self editing on what I said. The comments are positive but not uniformly (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

(...) Maybe it's not really quite up and running? If you go to the front page, www.lego.com, there is (at least for me) a "message boards" link in the lower left corner which leads to (URL) ... this, for me anyway, is a dead link... Does it work for (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Message boards on LEGO.com? —Joel Hoornbeek
The link seems to work for me. I probably never would have noticed it if you hadn't pointed it out, so, thanks. I posted a message in the "Next Legend?" thread this morning, and I think it took them three or four hours to approve it. -Joel (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

(...) Guess who johnnykr is! :) They moderated my messages in about 30 minutes, however, I posted one with links to brickshelf's scans for the 'what Legend do you want to see' thread, it hasn't been approved. -JHK (22 years ago, 13-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Message boards on LEGO.com? —Tim Courtney

Re: Message boards on LEGO.com? —Kyle McDonald
(...) Jake, for URL's would it be possible to leave them in the message, but just not make them 'clickable'???         Re: Message boards on LEGO.com? Jake McKee
(...) Well, the issue is that providing the URL (linked or not) opens a potential door to inappropriate content. As Steve put in an earlier post, the goal is to have a Message Board that anyone feels safe participating in, or sending their kids to (...) (22 years ago, 15-Nov-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Message boards on LEGO.com? —Kerry Raymond

RE: Message boards on LEGO.com? —Marco Correia
