That is really bad, but it least it isn't a Legend series. Here is a link

I think Brad Justus from LEGO Direct said they only plan to do releases on
things they can make, that don't require new tooling, such as the Spruce
trees. I am not sure if the Classic line falls under that or not. It might
explain this station though.
There are much better police stations to re-release, IMHO.
Classics like 370, 585 or 588.
Minifig stations like 6384, 6386, 6393 or 6540, 6598.
This is bad to see, I would have thought Town Junior would have died off,
but it keeps re-awakening! : ( Please put some resources into better sets,
rather than this station!

I thought that was what Creator and Jackstone were about... :) The Gas N Wash Express (Classic Re-release), Breezeway Cafe (Legend) and Pizza-to-go (Legend) make great re-issues.
