ooh! sets 588 & 6384 *sniff* there's something in my eye! *sniff*
I LOVE those two stations. I remember part of the ad on tv in USA about 588--I
had to have it. I got it for Christmas I was probably around kindergarten-ish
then. Anyways, when I saw my first little cute minifig I felt a tickle in my
heart that I still sometimes feel today over them cute 'lil figs! I was SO
enamored with the little 'legomen' (I think I called them) I told my dad I
couldn't go to sleep unless he brought me one. They were like my little
babies. I believe my dad brought me one of the 588 bike police dudes with
helmet. I was really hoping he'd bring the blue (I like that color) clothed
dude with the hairpiece (hairpiece=cute), but dad wanted to go to bed too, so I
got what he brought (but the SLIGHT 'disappointment' faded 'cause they're al
just so darn cute, especially biker dudes jacket zipper, and... AHEM) Earlier
that day, I now remember, my mom & dad were with me when I opened the box &
pulled out my first 'legoman' torso/head combo (they're STILL 'born' out of the
box the same way today! *sniff* there's something in my eye again! *sniff* I
remember my mom being excited by the cuteness of them having a single little
'bump' (aka stud) on their heads. At the time, some may recall, the larger
figs had a 'top' bump & an 'ear' bump on each side (3 'bumps'). Many years
later I had to get 6384 'cause it reminded me of 588 & I loved police Lego. I
reminded my parents to get it for me for Christmas, & I PEEKED to make sure
they did! even tho' I new I got it, it didn't diminish the joy of getting it
Chrismas morn' (althoug I had almost gotten over my hairpiece=cute prejudice).
*sniff* there's something in my eye again! *sniff*

| To All, (...) That is really bad, but it least it isn't a Legend series. Here is a link for people to see it: (URL)I just don't see any kind of line in TLC's policy on re-releasing. I think Brad Justus from LEGO Direct said they only plan to do (...) (22 years ago, 30-Aug-02, to lugnet.general)
