I was having a look at the statistics based on the set references. Nearly
all the sets owned by the most people are starwars, the first non-starwars
set is about 18th. Obviously this list could be biased by the fact that the
people buying starwars are the ones that fill the information in but
interesting never the less.

| Tim & All, (...) I think one of the factors of this is that when SW sets came out, it was the first sets that AFOL's would want to buy multiple copies of. Overall, they are good sets, with a lot of different, useful parts, and great minifigs that (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.general)
