In the 1980's Blue macaroni were not common. The 1985 Cement Mixer set 6682 is
the only one that I can think of immediately.
In the 1960's and early 1970's Blue macaroni were available from a variety of
sources, especially service packs. I do not know of any specific sets offhand,
but I know that I have bought a good number of Blue macaroni off Ebay that are
definitely from that period of time. I don't think there is any one set that
is loaded with macaroni of any color, but they were used a few at a time in
various types of sets from Town Plan, Train, Large Model sets, etc.
...But you probably know all this and I still have not helped you find the
answer. Normally, a good place to look would be Brickshelf, but since that
option is not currently workable I can't tell you where else to look.
