| | | | (...) The usual figure given out is ~60 or so. That was _direct_ radiation deaths. The other death totals (indirect) are very much larger, and not really known/knowable. I would say that 8K is a reasonable "estimate" of deaths caused directly by (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
