Lego on oddball hobby poll —Jim Schifeling
Over on the Phil Hendrie Show website is a daily poll. Today's poll is for oddball hobbies. Lego (over 18) is one of the choices. Don't hesitate to vote. Phil's radio show is the coolest there is. (URL) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) Okay, maybe a bit more than mildly. Maybe even almost up there with people who collect Martin Denny albums. But not quite.... :-D Maggie (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Lego on oddball hobby poll —Matthew Gerber
(...) Larry's right...why would anyone want to freely give that moron Hendrie more fodder for his "talk-to-himself" show? Here's hoping that LEGO DOESN'T win this particular time around... Matt (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Lego on oddball hobby poll —Jim Schifeling
Phil doesn't berate someone for their hobbies. He uses stuff like this the way "The Onion" or "MAD" does, as social commentary in general. (did anyone read the article "Plans to get laid at Dragoncon fail")? Besides bad publicity intentional, (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Lego on oddball hobby poll —Dave Johann
(...) I feel insulted that it's even listed as an oddball hobby. Refrigerator magnets...now that's odd! And for the record here's the coolest show: (URL) 101-eduacation for all. -Dave (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)
