(...) I voted. But not for LEGO. Most of the hobbies listed were more "oddball" (not that I particularly care for the term). And I'm not sure that winning this poll would be anything other than fodder for less than favorable publicity. ++Lar (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

Phil doesn't berate someone for their hobbies. He uses stuff like this the way "The Onion" or "MAD" does, as social commentary in general. (did anyone read the article "Plans to get laid at Dragoncon fail")? Besides bad publicity intentional, (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)
