For my own scaling, I use 1 stud = 1 foot or 3 studs = 1 meter. You will
have to do some selective compression and such, but it's simple. The height
is tricky. The lego brick is 6/5 taller than it is wide, so 5 bricks = 6
feet or roughly 2 meters.
