    Different kinds of Figs —Dave Ryder
   Here's a topic or two.. I was just thinking... If you call the 'Town' scale people minifigs, what do you call the Technic scale people? - Maxifigs?? Anybody else remember the really _BIG_ people? pre-minifigs? they had arms like Technic, but were (...) (26 years ago, 28-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

     AFAIK, "maxifig" is the unofficial name for the "big people" of the 70's (the ones that you mentioned below), which are also called as "bendyarm"s. I haven't hear any approved term for technic figures, but I prefer calling them "technifigs"..:-D (...) (26 years ago, 28-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

     (...) Eh, I was only born in 1976, but I've seen pics of 'em. :) Check out (URL) ... thats one of several of the sets that had the maxi-fig children. They were basically just like the adults, but shorter. Sean (26 years ago, 29-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)
