THOUGHT:
Who is most likely to buy these old/rare sets?
US. AFOL from in the community. LUGNETers.
Why not just donate the money directly to the Red Cross via credit card on
their web ite, or put money into the PayPal donation account on their
site...the money will get there a WHOLE lot faster, eBay won't get any part
of it, and there will be no chance of eBay pulling down the auction if you
put the words "World Trade Center" or "Pentagon" in it (like they are doing
until October 1.)

| (...) Yes and no! I found out that it is much easier to make more profit by using eBay than by offering sets for sale or highest bid on LUGNET. As the profit should be a 100% donation it is best if it gets the highest possible price/bid. There are a (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-01, to lugnet.general)
