(...) Based on seeing this, I took a visit to the Cary NC TRU and picked up this set. I have some more comments: First, the plane is not really like the Outback Airstrip one, but has a VERY important feature - trans light blue glass for the airplane (...) Slightly off topic, but I noticed last week that me local Wal*mart had all of the studios sets on sale (boy I'm glad I'm not into duplo eather, there was one set, on sale...), I'm hopeing they'll soon have new sets, I havn't seen any since the (...) I'm just wondering if anyone knows what plane in real life LEGO modeled it after, I was thinking it was a Cessna but I haven't found any plane that kinda matches its features. (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) I've gotten some still from the JPIII sites and I think it's a Beechcraft 1900C, does anyone know for sure? I think it would explain the stubyness of the LEGO model if you look at a 1900C IRL. Tim (23 years ago, 24-Jun-01, to lugnet.general)
