Do you mean you got the 2x2 base of a rocket nose cone stick into a dark
grey Scala flower vase (I'm assuming that's what you meant by apple shaped).
If so, is it a rocket nose cone with a hollow stud? Maybe you can stick the
Standard 5 high antenna or Castle lance into it and pry it out at an angle?
(but be careful snapping the rest of the antenna inside!). Also, maybe the
antenna/lance would provide enough friction for you to just pull it out at
this point? (As for how to grip the vase... I don't know).
Conversely, if you have a metal wire / long antenna like piece that fits in
the hollow stud, perhaps you could push them apart by inserting it through
the hollow stud and pushing?
