Yeah, the five color bar box was a kind of trademark logo.

It used to be animated on 70s TV commercials - the bars would snap together
and click. Unless I am thinking of some other toy. Would be a rush to see
that commercial again!

Why the ‘Rainbow Bar?’ I remember seeing this when I was little. Some Lego sets from the 60’s and late 70’s had a ‘five color-bar box’ right next to the TLC logo. In Set Reference, under set number 139 (and a few others) you can see the five (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-01, to lugnet.general)
