Good afternoon, folks.

Welcome back to the show. Now I will be reviewing:

-------------------------------

6771 Ogel Command Striker

The Good:

-Trans Red 6x6 Dish
-Red Podracer vanes x2
-Ogel

I think this set is pretty darn good, for $4.00 There isn't a lot to it, but
the form suggests that it could be a fast little skimmer boat thing. I like
the Ogel head. He has a certain Dr. Evil feel to him. ;^)

The Bad:
Two more of those dang Star Wars laser cannons. Doesn't everyone have one
MEELION of these by now?

The Ugly:

Ogel. But in this instance, I think that's a good thing. :^)

-------------------------------

6772 Alpha Team Cruiser

The Good:

-New Radia minifig
-Black Star Wars engines
-Purple grille tiles
-4x6 Trans Blue Wedge Airplane Window

I like the form of this set. I think it looks like a fast li'l Plane/Boat
thing. The click hinges allow you to angle the wings for variations in play.

The Bad:

-2x Yellow 2x2 click hinge pieces. I have to ask: Why? Why not just use two
1x2 click hinge pieces? This confuses me.

The Ugly:

Why are there two orange flames sticking out of the back of the radar dish?

-------------------------------

6774 Alpha Team ATV

The Good:
-Trans Blue Divers Bubble
-Trans Blue Star Wars Canopy
-Flex minifig (hee hee)
-Cam Minifig
-Red hair piece on Cam
-Black 1x6x2 Arches x2

This set has tons of playability. It has the ATV, which pulls a trailer with
the Minisub on it. There's a winch on the ATV which can lower the sub into
the water. There's a springboard thing for Flex to use. I'm not sure what
that's all about, but I can just picture Flex catapulting himself all over
the place while Cam is doing her submarine reconnaissance.

And the Flex figure just cracks me up. :^D

The Bad:
-There's no way for the sub to get off the trailer, but this is a logistical
problem that likely won't bother any kids. :^)

The Ugly:
-1x4 tile with printed controls is one of the least attractive printed tiles
I've seen in a long time. Yecch.

-------------------------------

Well, that's about it. Join us next time on Grand Admiral's Review.

In lugnet.general, Mark Sandlin writes: snippage... (...) Don't forget the new gray 1x4 piece with the right angle studs in the front of the ATV. I can see this piece used a bunch of places. I also like the 4x6 "tub" pieces for cockpits, which will (...) (24 years ago, 7-Apr-01, to lugnet.general)
