I have often criticized the past several years of set designs in vague terms such as "poor design values". I think I've finally found the words to clarify exactly what I don't like. Posting this again, I wrote it before but for some reason it didn't show up. James, I agree 100% with what you said here. I think this is pretty sad. In lugnet.general, David Zorn writes a worthy exposition of things clone related. As Dave Shuler commented (see other also worthy reply) its a trade-off - for less money I can do more stuff I enjoy.
