Please, people.  Try to think about things before going crazy with the hate
mail.  I don't expect everyone to like Microsoft, or agree with everything
the company does, but this joint venture looks to be a beneficial move for
both LEGO and the MSN side of Microsoft.  (And for the "lack of security"
reply I read, I can say easily that our products are very secure, and if
you'd like, I can send you many links that prove it.

Agreed.  Microsoft isn't evil, they just got a bit out of control.

Sony, on the other hand... ::glares at a few reps who forced stores to stop
promoting X-Box under penalty of a full withdrawal of Sony products from the
stores:: ...wants to monopolize all things electronic.  First video games,
they they'll take over television, then sound equipment, then computers...
Before you know it nobody will say "electronic" anymore because it'll mean
the same thing as "Sony".  And you'll have to pay $500 for a cheap
wristwatch, but since this is Sony you'll do it anyway because Sony can get
people to buy anything at any price.

So what is your solution to this perceived problem? Sony are playing within
the rules. There are companies out there who are/may not. You seem to be
saying the Sony are evil as they are costing you $$. Compare that to the
ford/firestone problem. Compare that to Union Carbide in Bhopal.

It is all relative.
