Well, according to the article itself, they paid for the idea in a settlement -
so if
they weren't legit at first, they certainly are now.
As for the companies - well, some of them at least are producing "copy" LEGO
sets - with the same pieces, boxes, etc as the real ones! There was a thread
about a Chinese company making "Shifty" bricks (no, really, that was the name!)
a while back.

Anyone care to comment on the reputability of the "Mail on Sunday"? Is it a
"real" newspaper or a tabloid rag?
