Legoland passes in the mail? —Barry McFarland
Has anyone received their Legoland Primo Passes yet?? I thought they were supposed to ship in January. March 14 is just around the corner. I would look pretty silly sitting on the hill with a telescope trying to see inside. :[ Barry (26 years ago, 3-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) I'm driving down from British Columbia, Canada to be at Legoland CA on opening day. Do you have to prepurchase passes for the March 20th opening??? Is so...WHERE? Rod legobot@hotmail.com smile lots (26 years ago, 3-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Legoland passes in the mail? —Barry McFarland
(...) I assume you can purchase at the park on opening day. US S@H has them also. They might ship tickets to Canada too. Phone number for Legoland CA info is (760) 918-5444 or try consumer affairs at (860) 763-3211 (M-F 9-9 ET). BTW, I called today (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Thanks Barry I'll call them first thing tomorrow for ticket info. Anybody else going to Legoland CA on opening day? Also, it says on their web page that the Legoland CA store has the largest selection of Lego in all of the US. What are the chances (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) It is starting to look better and better for me. At this point I'd say 66% probability that I and my family will be there. If you're not on Gary Louie's mailing list you need to be. Drop him a mail. (...) I'd say none, as that would require (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) I think they will have a nice selection of the new Stars Wars sets. The timing is just about right. (26 years ago, 5-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Legoland passes in the mail? —Todd Lehman
(...) I wonder what they mean by "selection of Lego"? Does it include DACTA products? If it doesn't, then The Construction Site in Waltham, Mass. has the largest retail selection of LEGO in the entire U.S. (They have more shelf space devoted to LEGO (...)           Re: Legoland passes in the mail? —Jeff Johnston
(...) Maybe they'll have some of the discontinued sets that are still available through S@H, like Royal Knight's Castle? Since I think Construction Site basically carries all current LEGO sets, it'd be hard to beat them, unless you're counting both (...) (26 years ago, 5-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Legoland passes in the mail? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) I've been to both. The LIC@MOA has holes in the current line (no Model team, for instance) but has stuff that is not available many other places in the US (playing cards, the most different keychains I've ever seen, rubber brick erasers, (...)       (...) Wow. A third reason to venture that far north. Might just have to plan a trip sometime soon. So far I have Rachael's family in CT and Enfield. Now this. Mmmmm..... (26 years ago, 5-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Well, I don't recall seeing sets from '88 to '93 when I visited Billund but that Legoland store certainly has a better selection than the big department stores I visited in Europe. The stores (...)    (...) Got my passes today!! Certified mail no less. The sneak preview ones too :) I guess they ship the legoland trucks seperately since is was not included with the tickets. Barry (26 years ago, 7-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)
