During my visit to the Kidvention at LEGOLAND this summer my friends went out
shopping and came back with the astounding news that the local 7-11 had "LEGO
& LIQUOR!".  Here in Richmond, VA you can't get either of these products at a
convenience store.

Of course with the LEGOLAND store available we didn't have to worry about
getting our bricks from the 7-11, but we certainly took advantage of the ready
availability of the liquid refreshments.

However, as responsible adults we made sure we were very careful in mixing
these two pleasurable pasttimes.

About two months ago, I noticed that a 7-11 here in the Arlington, Va area was selling a Lego set in their small "toy" section. It was #1271, for about $3. I quickly checked something like 25 more 7-11's, and about 6 were selling a set each. Always (...) (24 years ago, 7-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)
