Picture of 3439-Spy Runner! —Mark Herzberg

(...) Exactly what I was thinking. My catalog just came in today, and this was one thing I looked for. The car is a little cheesy, but I don't think it is the main focus of the set anyway. P.S.      (...) I don't have the catalog yet, so I can't really tell. From the ebay picture, it looks to me like it's this piece: (URL). I do hope I'm wrong. (24 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

(...) He probably saves himself the time and waits until payment, then he calls S@H and sends it to the winner's address via S@H (as if it were a gift). Saves him a heck of a lot of time, and you can request a "hidden" box, which shows no signs it (...) (24 years ago, 7-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

        SW Cockpit piece —David Simmons
The most interesting thing about this set is that it's the first time the click-hinge canopy from the SW sets has been made in another color. Not that I care much for this piece in general, but it's a new color. Dave (24 years ago, 7-Sep-00, to lugnet.general)

Based on the pics I've seen in the past few days, I am guess he's talking about that new "Spy Runner" Airplane set avaialble from S@H. I believe that it has the canopy from the X-Wing in trans-blue. "Matthew Miller" <mattdm@mattdm.org> wrote in (...) (24 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.general)
