| On 8/5/00 my C drive was strangely loaded with files called things like "f" and "c". there were over 100 files just called "M" , AND EACH ONE CALLED M WAS LOTSA STUFF ABOUT LUGNET !!!...!!! !!!...!!! !!!...!!! What's with this??? (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

| (...) Probably disk corruption. Try running scandisk. (It's also possible that the files you saw were the _result_ of scandisk trying to fix said corruption.) The files with LUGnet stuff probably were either from your web browser cache (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

| I think I've figured it out, probably misnamed files from when my browser crashed, again. My messed up browser is attacking again, NICK #:^A (...) and (...) !! (...) !! (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)
