As am I, do not be surprised if the name changes rather suddenly, as FASA
has the word "Mech" trademarked, and are very strict about enforcing it.

"Mech" isn't a registered trademark in the US. I'm not sure who FASA is --
would they even be in the same trademark class as Lego?

FASA is a company that publishes and owns the rights and trademarks for
the Battletech and Mechwarrior games, and among them, "BattleMech" and "Mech"
are trademarks owned and defended by their legal department.  They have
succesfully sued and/or bullied people and companies in the US and other
countries based on infringement of that trademark.  Witness the proliferation
of interesting and sometimes rediculous terminology for things generically
termed "mecha" ('Gears, Mektons, 'Bots, etc.). "Mecha" is a generic term used
for decades in Japanese animation (and essentially in the public domain), but
"Mech" is owned by FASA as it relates to giant drivable robots.

And since the "BattleMech" and "Mech" trademarks are used in reference to Giant
walking robots, it is certainly in the same field of use as any robot model
LEGO might make.
