Probably because they are marketed towards Day Cares, etc who are able to write
them off.  Wow, wouldn't it be neat if you could write off LEGO on your taxes!!

(...) too (...) write (...) Not to mention would have the space for them. We've got 30-something of those plastic Chub(s?) Baby-Wipes Bricks (imported from the USA IIRC) and they really really really annoy me spacewise, whether stacked up or all (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.dacta, lugnet.general)
