Sorting is a means to an end, however. I spent 11 long hours sorting my
parts, and I've never regretted it. I can build things in half the time now.

Still, I'd rather see a MOC than sorted parts bins.  :^)

Question:  Should I use my free-time tonight to organize and sort?  Or • should
I attempt to build a castle creation I've been thinking of?  I think it would

Easy. Creation. (even if it wasn't castle <grin>)

If you want a reason... building MOCs is much more satisfying, and • develops
your imagination. And when you show them to us, we enjoy it too. Can't • say
that about sorting, now can you.

The problem is when your sorting would take WEEKS, not hours or days - at that point, it's frustrating to even think about starting. It's time I buckled down and continued my sorting, though, so I can start bagging Ebay lots. (...) -- Tom Stangl (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.general)
