Wow, this is interesting news. I just took a quick peek at the Zowie website
to see what kinds of products they make. The one I looked at was an
interactive Pirate ship that plugs into your PC. This could bode well for the
return of the Pirate's theme....
I have to wonder what kind of products LEGO is planning to introduce in the
"Zowie style" though. The playset I saw on the Zowie site was just that - a
playset (no construction involved). It would be neat if LEGO modified the
concept to include construction along with the interactive aspects of these
playsets...but just to fit all the cables and such in the models we're bound to
see more large piece prefabrication in these new sets. They might even market
the same products Zowie currently produces under the "LEGO" brand...that is
something that was predicted on this group...but I hope the prophecy does not
come true :(
