City Centre is supposed to appeal to both sexes, though I don't think fire
trucks and construction trucks appeal to girls. How about Scala? Speaking of
which, anyone remember when LEGOLand Town had those girl-focuses sets? They
are actually my favourite ones. Focused towards girls, yet still bought by
boys because they had normal colour tones (I am not bashing Paradisa here. I
love Paradisa). Two such sets are 6388 Swiss Chalet (1989) and 6349 Holiday
Villa (1988), two of my favourite sets. On the inside flaps of the boxes there
are pictures of girls playing with them. Other girl-focused sets include 6379
Riding Stable (1986 Europe/1987 US). Sadly, when LEGOLand left after 1990, we
no longer saw any LEGO houses.
