Re: What 15 LEGO Pieces are still made today? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Clarification please? would you count the 2x4 brick as the same? I wouldn't. Adding tubes is enough of a radical difference to not be the "same". Ditto for the 2x8 plate, changing from that squarish pattern to the current short tube and pin (...) (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: What 15 LEGO Pieces are still made today? —Gary R. Istok
(...) Yes Larry I am including those type of pieces, since it still is a 2x4. There are so many sublte as well as large changes (in some instances), but if you allowed no slack at all the actual number would probably be "1" piece, the 1x1 brick. (...)        (...) Jacob, Don't you mean 1x2x2 and 1x4x2 windows? If so, the 1x4x2 window was discontinued about a decade ago. Gary Istok (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: What 15 LEGO Pieces are still made today? —Gary R. Istok
(...) Jacob, Are you sure that a recent set has this window? In what color? And you're sure that it is not that 1x1x1 piece with a round opening on one side, which is not a window piece. A lot of people confuse these two. Gary Istok (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)
